The Dwight Foster Public Library in Fort Atkinson underwent a major renovation and addition to modernize the historic library. The Fort library, which began as a reading room in the 1890s before later moving into its own building in 1916 now stands at 33,000 square feet. The renovated library, which features five fireplaces, consists of spaces dedicated for teens, children and provides the home-like comforts past patrons are accustomed.
