Originally founded as a residential home builder in 1953, Daniels Construction continues to honor our history by delivering high-quality custom homes, additions, and renovations tailored to each homeowner’s vision. As both the general contractor and self-performing contractor, our experienced crews complete critical phases of construction including foundations, concrete, framing, and finish work to ensure quality craftsmanship for years to come.
Cottage Grove Residence
Daniels Construction served as the general contractor for this custom residential home, managing the project from start to finish while self-performing the foundation, concrete work, and the home’s back deck. The concrete driveway is scheduled for completion in the fall, bringing the project to its final phase.
2020 Chadbourne Residence
Daniels crews worked to restabilize the bones of this historical Madison home, built originally in 1914, through a selective structural demolition. All foundational structures were removed and replaced, along with the existing garage, in order to ensure the safety and sustainability of the home for years to come. Concrete was poured to replace the crumbling, existing sidewalks and driveway, giving the home an additional aesthetic refresh.
835 Basswood Ave
Daniels Construction completed extensive structural and concrete improvements to this residential property, including excavation, full foundation underpinning, and the installation of new steel beams and columns. The work also included a new precast garage floor system, replacement of the basement concrete floors, and excavation for a new egress window.
Nakoma Residence
This historic home, located in the Nakoma neighborhoods, initially built in 1935, received a major addition and remodel, modernizing the original colonial style while maintaining historic elements. Deep foundation work was done in order to add a finished basement, along with a new concrete patio and entertainment space in the backyard. Various rooms, such as existing bathrooms, pantry, and living area were fitted with custom, in-house cabinetry and renovated, while a master suite and kitchen were added to the house.
