This property on Lake Mendota received a brand-new boathouse through the engineering initiatives of Daniels teams. A 3-part filtration tank was used to pump water out of the shoreline, blocking sediments and runoff before it was able to pollute the lake. This allowed crews to safely drive metal sheeting into the lakebed and install fill forms, setting them up to pour concrete for the updated boathouse structure. A stone retaining wall was additionally added to reinforce the new concrete patio and prevent erosion along the bank.
